SCOV Staying in Charge As WE AGE Club!
We are Sun City Oro Valley residents joining together to help us navigate the aging process.
Our mission is to educate and empower ourselves by discussing issues impacting our lives as we grow older.
We meet in the Activity Center Navajo Room on the 4th Sunday of the month at 2 pm.
All Sun City residents are welcome to attend!
Guest Speakers inform us on valuable programs and resources available to help us.
For Past Programs, we provide a summary and presentation notes. So even if you miss a meeting, you can use this website to read about the latest.
Please join us as a member to support our club’s operations – only $10 per year! Drop off payment at our monthly meeting or send to our Treasurer, Linda Wickline using this form.
We offer regular group Tours of senior living facilities, including transportation and lunch to help evaluate the facility. Cost is only $5 per tour (must be a Club Member to attend.)
We have even more! See our SCOV Resources for reading lists, Sun City OV assistance programs, local transportation and meal delivery services, some fun movies about aging, and reputble websites – all in printable format.
Disclaimer: We are a discussion group seeking to educate ourselves and share our experiences about issues we have or will have as we grow older. We do not recommend any solution to the issues we discuss or any specific businesses that provide relevant services.
